The heat exchangers manufactured by COMES are used in a wide range of sizes, pressures, temperatures and working fluids, in many industries and especially in the chemical, petroleum and petrochemical industries.
Types of heat exchangers we currently manufacture:
- heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers with shell: rigid construction / with expansion joints / U tubes
- tubular heat exchangers, without shell: coils
The tube sheets are made of carbon steel, and can be cladded with stainless steel. Fixing the pipes in the tube sheets is done by expansion and / or welding.

The internals most often replaced in a heat exchanger are the tube bundles. Depending on the construction of the heat exchanger, tube bundles can be:
- with floating cover;
- U-shaped;
- with fixed tube plates.
