We manufactured the 2 new reactors for the first time and implicitly modernized them in order to make the production process more efficient (increase by 24% in the amount of diesel produced) and improve fuel quality.
The project for the 2 NEW PROCESS REACTORS was developed in stages – mechanical design – procurement of raw material – cutting, mechanical processing of the sub-assemblies – welding – heat treatment – pressure test – anti-corrosion protection – packaging.
Material grade: CS grade F22 cladded with SS347
When joining the base ferrule with the reactor body we used triple forging technology in order to reduce the stresses due to the very high temperature and pressure and, implicitly, the very large mass of the reactor.
