As part of our
Long-Term Strategy
we are committed to reducing carbon emissions and promoting ecological solutions across all our processes. Currently, we are implementing a green energy project that includes cutting-edge technologies essential for reducing conventional energy consumption and achieving our sustainability goals.
These technologies include:
- Solar Panel System
- Dual-Function Electric Vehicle Charging Station
- Heat Pump
These components will significantly contribute to reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and support our commitments to a cleaner environment while ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
1. Solar Panels
The solar panels will be installed on COMES S.A.’s facility rooftop in a dedicated area, optimized to maximize sun exposure. The generated energy will charge the mechanical processing workshop, thus reducing dependence on conventional power grids and ensuring green energy supply. By using this 100% clean and renewable energy source, COMES will significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and support the transition to a more ecological energy system.
2. Dual-Function Electric Vehicle Charging Station
As part of our project, we have implemented a dual-function charging station for electric vehicles. This will enable charging of electric vehicles for employees, collaborators, and visitors, thus contributing to promoting green mobility and reducing environmental impact. The station supports the use of electric vehicles, encouraging the transition to sustainable transportation and reducing CO₂ emissions.
3. Heat Pump
The heat pump is an innovative technology that will support heating COMES administrative building using electrical energy from the company’s installed solar panels. It operates based on a thermodynamic cycle similar to that of a refrigerator but reversed, providing heating instead of cooling. The heat pump will play an important role in ensuring optimal climate conditions within the facility and stabilizing grid fluctuations, thus contributing to the energy efficiency of the entire system.
The integration of these technologies into a
Complete and Autonomous System
will allow COMES to maximize green energy usage. The solar panels will power the mechanical processing workshop, the car charging station, and the heat pump, ensuring a clean and efficient energy source. Meanwhile, the heat pump will ensure optimal climate conditions within the company using renewable energy produced by the panels. This integrated system will reduce dependence on external energy sources, minimize environmental impact, and support COMES sustainability objectives. Furthermore, implementing these innovative solutions will improve the company’s operational efficiency, transforming COMES into an example of industry best practices and contributing to the development of a greener and more responsible economy.
